Virtual Intellectual Forum: BCA Holds Indonesia Knowledge forum (IKF) IX 2020

Jakarta, 06 October 2020 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to create to provide the best solutions and services to the customer and the Indonesian public, despite today’s challenges and uncertainty. This creative spirit is manifested in the Grand Celebration of Knowledge, the Indonesia Knowledge Forum (IKF) IX 2020, bearing the theme “Business Revamp: Overcoming Uncertainty through Knowledge”.

Unlike the previous forum, the IKF IX 2020 is held virtually, fully compliant with the health protocols, given the current pandemic has hit the vast majority of the world, including Indonesia. Nevertheless, the organizer (BCA Learning Service) strives to optimally work to make an attractive program that provide benefits and the thrill of attending a virtual intellectual forum.

Event participants will be guided throughout on how to enjoy the IKF IX 2020, which is held virtually on ikf.co.id for one full day on 6 October 2020. The event also features inspirational speakers in several seminar sessions. The IKF IX 2020 is also complemented by a virtual lounge for communities who wish to discuss any of the available topics, and a virtual expo from financial industry, investment, HR development, and creative economy, who are selected to become a source of inspiration and knowledge for the development of the community businesses. All activities (including gym) are done virtually to maintain the appeal of the event.

Attending to open the IKF IX 2020 on Tuesday (06/10) is the President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja and Deputy President Director of BCA Suwignyo Budiman. The IKF IX 2020 specifically presents notable expert speakers to share their knowledge, experience and inspiration in developing and managing business strategies in order to face challenges amid uncertainty and dynamic conditions.

Jahja added that the pandemic does not deter BCA to create and contribute in providing value added in the form of knowledge to the people of Indonesia. The virtual IKF IX 2020 is a proof that people must be able to find “opportunities” to survive a crisis. With the development of digital, information and technology, people must be able to innovate to face challenges in various levels and segments of life. The uncertainties we’re facing today should be a turning point for people to rise to the occasion and innovate in search of opportunities.

The speakers included Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara, Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, President Director of Garuda Indonesia Irfan Setiaputra, President Director of PT Dexa Medica Ferry Soetikno, CEO of Kopi Kenangan Edward Tirtanata, Filmmaker Joko Anwar, President Director of PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia Michael T. Tjoajadi, Economist Chatib Basri and dozens of other speakers. Jahja added that according to the theme: Business Revamp: Overcoming Uncertainty through Knowledge, all speakers wish to share their experiences on how to face uncertainty and rebuild Indonesia’s economy power.

“We certainly hope that the IKF will be able to broaden the knowledge of the Indonesian people, despite the difficult situation today, we need to realize that Indonesia has abundant resources and strong infrastructure to bounce back and collectively overcome the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. This time, the IKF presents speakers from various segments with various experiences, which subsequently is expected to inspire Indonesians to survive and find opportunities amid the difficulties they’re facing,” Jahja concluded.
