Jakarta, 2 October 2020 - Human resources (HR) is one of the keys to the growth and development of an institution or company, including for PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA). This effort allowed BCA to be awarded as Indonesia's HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2020.
The award was given virtually by Business Media International (BMI) as the organizer of the HR Asia Award, to Executive Vice President Human Capital Management BCA Hendra Tanumihardja on Friday (02/10). Before finally being crowned on the awarding night, there were stages of assessment that BCA has gone through since last February. These stages included the Employee Selection Survey on 6 February to 9 March 2020 and the Audit Stage/Presentation on 25 June 2020.
“We realize that BCA's various brilliant achievements during its 63 years of existence in Indonesia cannot be separated from the participation of BCA personnel. To that end, BCA always strives for a comfortable working environment for employees to achieve maximum productivity. This is manifested by organizing competency and capability improvement programs, providing career development opportunities, and encouraging the creation of a work-life balance for BCA personnel," explained Hendra.
The HR Asia Award is an award event held in 12 countries by Business Media International (BMI), a business-to-business publisher based in Selangor, Malaysia. In each country, several winners were selected in the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia award category. Based on the results of the Employee Selection Survey using the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM), BCA was able to score points higher than the average points for other companies.
Last year in 2019, BCA won the same award in the same event. “This award is both a matter of pride and a challenge for us to continue to improve our HR development programs in order to maximize the potential of our employees. Through a positive and supportive work environment, it is hoped that employees will feel comfortable to continue to grow at BCA," concluded Hendra.
