Jakarta, 11 Agustus 2020 – As the physical distancing policy is enforced, online shopping characterizes the new trend in our society amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Shifting from conventional transactions, now people are more likely to shop online. This encourages PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) as part of the road map for the national transaction system to support the ease and convenience of online transactions for customers. BCA implemented the commitment by launching its latest feature namely Debit Online on the BCA mobile app.
Debit Online is a feature of Debit BCA Mastercard that provides ease of payment on various sites, applications or online services. It is certainly different from other features, in which BCA is the first bank to introduce ease of online transactions arrangements via mobile banking app.
“In line with our commitment to Always Stand by Your Side, BCA continues to transform to provide optimal service through sophisticated technology that is aligned with dynamic customer needs. After the launch of the BagiBagi feature on BCA mobile, we are now introducing the Debit Online feature that facilitates customers to control their transactions via BCA mobile,” explained, Director of BCA.
This new feature offers two benefits, namely ease of control and unlimited transactions. Customers can active or deactivate transactions, set transaction limit and block debit transactions, all have #BeenMadeSimple on BCA mobile. Furthermore, it allows customers to use it as an online payment method both in Indonesia and abroad. It can also be used to shop across e-commerce platforms, online shops, and online services that accept Mastercard payments.
Regarding security, customers do not need to worry because they can set the feature via BCA mobile. If you do not wish to use the Debit Online feature, you can simply disable it. The feature also uses a One Time Password (OTP) which will be sent to customer’s registered mobile phone number every time a transaction is made.
It is fairly easy to use the feature. Should you have an active Debit BCA Mastercard registered on BCA mobile, activate “Debit Online Transaction” and set up a mobile phone number to receive the OTP when making transactions. To activate Debit Online feature, set a transaction limit, and block your debit card, simply log in to your BCA mobile app and select “My Account”.
