Which Countries Accept Cross-Border QR?

Here are some countries where you can use this payment method.

1. Singapura

In Singapore, the Cross-Border QR Network is integrated through a partner called Network for Electronics Transfer (NETS). You can make QRIS transactions through the myBCA app at places that offer QR payment methods with the NETS logo or the SGQR + NETS logo.

2. Malaysia

QRIS transactions in Malaysia are available through several partner banks that are integrated with the banking network. Some of the banking networks that have integrated with QRIS include Public Bank Berhad, Razer Merchant Services Sdn Bhd, United Overseas Bank Berhad, TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, Axiata Digital eCode Sdn Bhd (Boost), AmBank Malaysia Berhad, Maybank Berhad, and Hong Leong Bank Berhad.

Moreover, QRIS transactions in Malaysia can be carried out if there is a DuitNow logo and a partner bank logo shown above. You can make payments directly using QRIS from the myBCA app.

3. Thailand

Travelers visiting Thailand can make use of cashless QR payments for their transactions. The BCA QR payment method is available in Thailand through partner banks that are integrated with the following banking networks: Bank CIMB Thai, BBL (Bangkok Bank), BAY (Bank of Ayudhya), Krungthai Bank (KTB), CIMB Thai, Kasikorn Bank (KBANK), and Siam Commercial Bank (SCB).

When making transactions in Thailand, it’s important to check if the merchant has the Cross-Border QR Payment logo in addition to the bank partner logos. If the logo is present, you can make payments directly from the myBCA app.

How to Use Cross-Border QRIS via myBCA App

The process for making transactions using Cross-Border QR is the same as that of QR in general, which involves scanning the merchant’s QR code.

  1. Log in to myBCA
  2. Select QRIS
  3. Scan the QRIS code available at the merchant
  4. Select the fund source account, or Paylater, and enter/confirm the payable amount, then click Continue
  5. Make sure the merchant name and transaction amount are correct, and click Continue
  6. Enter your PIN
  7. Transaction is successful
