Important Information

Document Requirements

The document requirements that must be met to become a BCA Merchant are as follows:

Application form to Become a BCA Merchant
Identification documents of the applicant’s majority shareholder (if any), as specified below:
1. Electronic Resident ID Card (e-KTP), for an individual shareholder with Indonesian citizenship
2. Passport and Limited/Permanent Stay Permit (KITAS/KITAP) / electronic Resident ID Card (e-KTP), for an individual shareholder with foreign citizenship
3. Taxpayer ID Number (NPWP) Card, for a business entity

If the majority shareholder is a foreign individual that does not reside in Indonesia, the KITAS/KITAP/e-KTP may be replaced by a Reference Letter issued by a competent Government Agency

Supporting documents, as may be required according to the selected transaction facility
Statement and Authorization Letter regarding BCA Merchant’s Settlement Account (if the settlement account is not in the name of the relevant BCA Merchant)
Other documents as may be required for the opening of a current account or savings account to be used as the settlement account (applicable to business entities)

Application form to Become a BCA Merchant
Electronic Resident ID Card (e-KTP) (for Indonesian citizens)
Passport and Limited/Permanent Stay Permit (KITAS/KITAP) (for foreign citizens)
Tax ID Number (NPWP) Card (for applicants that already have the NPWP)
Business Identification Number (NIB) / Company Registration Certificate (TDP) (for applicants that have a TDP but do not have the NIB) *)
Business License issued by the competent authority *)
Professional License from the competent Department/Association **)
Statement and Authorization Letter regarding BCA Merchant’s Settlement Account (if the settlement account is not in the name of the relevant BCA Merchant)
Supporting documents, as may be required according to the selected transaction facility

*) If the applicant is applying to become a Static QRIS BCA Merchant and does not have the NIB and/or TDP and/or Business License, the applicant can simply provide a picture of his/her business location as a supporting document

**) Applicable only to individual applicants with such professions as doctors, accountants, etc.

Certificate of Business Review (Berita Acara Peninjauan Usaha, or BAPU), only for individual merchants *)
Picture of the applicant’s business location
Statement and Authorization Letter regarding BCA Merchant’s Settlement Account (if the settlement account is not in the name of the relevant BCA Merchant)
A statement letter/Cooperation Agreement or a similar form/document if the applicant requests additional facilities such as the ECR / Customized Merchant Report (CMR) / 0% installment

*) The Certificate of Business Review (BAPU) is only required if the applicant does not have a Business Identification Number (NIB) and a Business License
