Requirements and Procedure

  • The prospective customer is an individual.
  • The account opening is reserved for individual customers (whether Indonesian or foreign citizens) that already hold an identity card.
  • The Customer completes the account opening application form and accepts the terms therein.
  • The Customer provides the required documentation.

Main Features of Tahapan Xpresi:

  • Available in 1 currency, i.e., Rupiah.
  • The minimum balance requirement is Rp10,000.

  • The deposit interest rate that is eligible for the deposit insurance scheme follows the applicable interest rate set by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan or LPS), which can be viewed on the website of the LPS.
  • The Customer will receive information on the Customer’s account transaction history in the form of a soft copy account statement (e-statement) by downloading it directly from the channels owned by the Customer.

      • Making online payments on various websites, applications, or online services.

      • Making cash transactions at thousands of BCA ATMs and through the Prima ATM network, and the Mastercard/Cirrus ATM network worldwide.
  • The Customer can apply for the Savings account facilities, such as BCA Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.
  • Reliable Security, BCA ATM PIN, m-BCA PIN, and KeyBCA make the Customer’s transactions safe and convenient.

Risks:

  • The Customer’s deposits will not be covered by the deposit insurance scheme managed by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) if:
    • The total balance of the Customer’s deposits (including interest) in one bank exceeds (an equivalent of) Rp2 billion for both single accounts and joint accounts.
    • The interest rate obtained by the Customer exceeds the deposit insurance interest rate set by the LPS.
  • Savings interest rates may fluctuate in line with market developments.
  • If the balance remaining in the Customer's savings account is zero and there are no transactions for 12 consecutive months, the account will be automatically closed.

Additional Information

  • The Bank has the right to change the benefits, fees and charges, risks, including the terms and conditions for this product and/or service, and such change will be notified by BCA in any form and through any means in accordance with the applicable law.
  • The Customer may receive offerings for other products from other parties outside of the Bank that have entered into a cooperation agreement with the Bank, if the Customer gives consent to BCA to provide the customer’s data to such other parties that have entered into a cooperation agreement with the Bank.
  • The Customer may receive offerings for the Bank’s products and/or services or the products and/or services belonging to other parties that have entered into a cooperation agreement with the Bank via personal communication channels, if the Customer gives consent to the Bank to deliver such product and/or service offerings via personal communication channels.

Remarks:

  • The fee for Outward Remittance (OR) can be viewed at bca.co.id.
  • The fee for Account closure is Rp10,000.
  • The fee for Card issuance/replacement is Rp25,000.
  • The fee for withdrawal/transfer at the counter in an amount below the ATM transaction limit is Rp15,000.
  • Starting from July 5, 2024, merchants will charge customers an admin fee of IDR4,000 for cash withdrawal transactions using BCA Debit Cards through BCA EDC at merchant locations.
  • Any Customer making a large cash withdrawal (≥ Rp100,000,000) needs to give confirmation/notification to BCA 1 (one) day in advance. Without such prior confirmation/notification, the Customer will be charged a fee of Rp100,000.

1) The limit for cash withdrawals using the Paspor BCA is a combined limit with the cardless cash withdrawal limit via m-BCA.

2) The limit for cash deposits using the Paspor BCA is a combined limit with the cardless cash deposit limit via m-BCA.

3) The limit for transfer between BCA Accounts via the BCA ATM is a combined limit with the limit for transfer between BCA Accounts via m-BCA.

4) The limit for transfer between BCA Accounts (to a foreign currency account) via the BCA ATM is a combined limit with the limit for transfer between BCA Accounts (to a foreign currency account) via m-BCA.

5) The limit for transfer to another bank via the BCA ATM is a combined limit with the limit for transfer to another bank (Online & BI-FAST) via m-BCA.

6) The limit for payment with Debit BCA is a combined limit with the limit for cash withdrawal at a merchant and Flazz top-up via an EDC machine (separate from the limit for cash withdrawal via ATMs).

7) Contactless Debit transactions without a PIN are still calculated in the BCA Debit transaction limit according to the type of BCA Debit/ATM Card. Contactless Debit limit with PIN follows the BCA Debit transaction limit.

8) This limit is separate from the limit for transfer in Rupiah.

9) Applicable to transfers to all Own BCA Accounts (Rupiah/foreign currency accounts). Transfer transactions from a Rupiah source account to a foreign currency account shall be subject to the Information on Foreign Exchange Transaction Threshold, which can be viewed at https://www.bca.co.id/en/informasi/news-and-features/2022/07/15/02/49/informasi-ketentuan-threshold-transaksi-valas.

10) Applicable to transfers between BCA accounts other than transfers to own account.

11) The combined limit for transfers between BCA accounts (other than transfers to own accounts) and transfers to another bank via myBCA is the maximum daily transaction limit per BCA ID. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TAHAPAN XPRESI
PT BANK CENTRAL ASIA Tbk (“BCA”)

A. DEFINITIONS

  1. Depositor means an individual who owns an identity card in accordance with the applicable law and who has opened a TAHAPAN XPRESI account at BCA.
  2. PASPOR BCA Card means a card issued by BCA that can be used by the holder of the PASPOR BCA card to conduct Certain Transactions through BCA Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) and/or other facilities as determined by BCA.
  3. Certain Transaction means a transaction that can be conducted by the Depositor through BCA ATM and/or other facilities as determined by BCA such as deposit, cash withdrawal, funds transfer, payment, and balance information including Contactless Transaction.
  4. PASPOR Xpresi Card means a PASPOR BCA Card specifically issued as a facility for the TAHAPAN XPRESI account.
  5. Contactless Transaction is transaction carried out using a PASPOR Xpresi Card with contactless feature by bringing the PASPOR Xpresi Card closer (without having to dip/swipe the PASPOR Xpresi Card) to an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine or Terminal owned by BCA or other parties through the Maestro/Mastercard network with or without using a personal password number or Personal Identification Number (PIN).

B. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. TAHAPAN XPRESI Depositor means an individual who owns an identity card in accordance with the applicable law (hereinafter referred to as the "Depositor”).
  2. Potential Depositors must open the TAHAPAN XPRESI account by themselves or they may also be represented by their parents or guardians in accordance with the applicable provisions at BCA. The TAHAPAN XPRESI account can only be opened in the form of a single account (it cannot be opened in the form of a joint account).
  3. Once the TAHAPAN XPRESI account has been opened, BCA will issue a PASPOR Xpresi Card either with a national payment gateway logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional) and/or with the Mastercard logo, in the following card types: Pre-Printed PASPOR Xpresi Card, Photo-bearing PASPOR Xpresi Card, or a Multi-design PASPOR Xpresi Card of the Depositor’s choice.
  4. The image on the PASPOR Xpresi Card is only intended for aesthetic or decoration purposes and will not be used for verification purposes when the Depositor conducts a transaction. All images to be displayed on the PASPOR Xpresi Card at the request of the Depositor, including photographs, are subject to the following provisions.
    1. Not containing any pornographic elements.
    2. Not violating the general rules morals and decency or the intellectual property rights of others.
    3. If there is an indication that the image on the PASPOR Xpresi Card violates the restrictions specified in items a) and/or b) above, BCA has the right to require the Depositor to replace the image on his/her PASPOR Xpresi Card. All consequences arising from such violations shall be the liability of the Depositor.
  5. The PASPOR Xpresi Card is issued only for the benefit of the Depositor and must not be transferred to other persons in any way. All consequences arising from any misuse of the PASPOR Xpresi Card, including the misuse of the PASPOR Xpresi Card to make Contactless Transaction, shall be the sole liability of the Depositor.
  6. The PASPOR Xpresi Card must not be used for purposes other than to conduct a Certain Transaction.
  7. The parent or guardian that opens a TAHAPAN XPRESI account in the capacity as the parent or guardian of a minor is fully liable for the use of the PASPOR Xpresi Card provided by BCA, including in the event of any misuse of such PASPOR Xpresi Card.
  8. Every time the Depositor uses the PASPOR Xpresi Card, the Depositor will be requested to enter a PIN or put a signature (only for Certain Transactions on the EDC machine at overseas merchants that only conduct transaction verification in the form of signatures). The Depositor must keep the confidentiality of the PIN and OTP (One Time Password) sent to the Depositor’s registered mobile number. The OTP is only required for certain transactions, including an online debit transaction for which the merchant requires the Depositor to enter the OTP. The Depositor must not disclose his/her PIN and/or OTP to any other persons. All consequences arising from any misuse of the PIN and/or OTP shall be the sole liability of the Depositor.
  9. Notwithstanding the provisions as specified in point 8 above, the Depositor shall be able to make Contactless Transaction using PASPOR Xpresi Card which has contactless feature without being required to enter personal password number or PIN up to the maximum limit determined by BCA, the principal of the PASPOR Xpresi Card, or the competent authority in each country where the Depositor make such Contactless Transaction.
  10. In conducting Contactless Transaction, the Depositor must follow the applicable rules at BCA, the regulations issued by the principal of PASPOR Xpresi Card, and applicable regulations in each country where the Depositor conducts Contactless Transactions, including provisions regarding transaction limits and the frequency of Contactless Transaction that can be conducted by the Depositor.
  11. Notwithstanding the provisions as specified in point point B.10 above, for the convenience of the Depositor, Contactless Transactions can still be carried out at certain merchant the list of which will be notified by BCA in any form and by any means in accordance with applicable laws, although the Depositor has not set up Contactless Transaction.
  12. The usage of PASPOR Xpresi Card in contactless method as specified above shall have the same legal force as the written instruction signed by the Depositor.
  13. The use of the PIN on BCA Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), other banks’ ATMs through a switching service provider’s network such as Prima and/or Cirrus, BCA EDC machine, or another party's EDC machine through the Maestro/MasterCard network has the same legal force as a written instruction signed by the Depositor.
  14. If the PASPOR Xpresi Card is stolen or lost, the Depositor must immediately provide BCA with a written notice of such theft or loss. The notice must be made and signed by the Depositor in the form and substance satisfactory to BCA and submitted to a BCA Branch Office during BCA business hours. If the Depositor is unable to come to the BCA Branch Office, the notification can be made through Halo BCA.
  15. Any notice of theft or loss of the PASPOR Xpresi Card, whether submitted to a BCA Branch Office or provided via Halo BCA, will be followed by a blockage by BCA of the relevant TAHAPAN XPRESI account. The account will remain blocked by BCA until BCA receives a written request from the Depositor to release the blocked TAHAPAN XPRESI account. As long as the notice of theft or loss has not been received by BCA, any Certain Transactions made using the stolen or lost PASPOR Xpresi Card shall be the sole liability of the Depositor.
  16. The written request to release the blocked account linked to the stolen or lost PASPOR Xpresi Card can be submitted by the Depositor to a BCA Branch Office. BCA has the right to verify the identity of the Depositor when the Depositor requests the release of the blocked TAHAPAN XPRESI account.
  17. BCA will not process any transaction involving the TAHAPAN XPRESI account whose PASPOR Xpresi Card has been reported lost by the Depositor to BCA, however such TAHAPAN XPRESI account can still receive incoming funds. To conduct transactions again with the TAHAPAN XPRESI account, the Depositor can apply for a replacement of the PASPOR Xpresi Card at all BCA Branch Offices, except for the replacement of a Photo-Bearing PASPOR Xpresi Card or a Multi-Design PASPOR Xpresi Card, which can only be done at certain Branch Offices.
  18. The Depositor holds BCA harmless against all claims, lawsuits, and/or other legal proceedings and for any losses arising from the forgery of a PASPOR Xpresi Card that is not caused by BCA’s fault.
  19. BCA reserves the right to block the Depositor’s TAHAPAN XPRESI account, reject any transaction involving the Depositor, and/or terminate the business relationship with the Depositor if:
    1. the Depositor fails to comply with the prevailing law;
    2. the Depositor fails to provide any information and supporting documents in accordance with the prevailing law;
    3. the Depositor is known to have used and/or reasonably suspected of using false documents and/or providing incorrect data to BCA;
    4. the Depositor provides questionable information; and/or
    5. the Depositor’s source of transaction funds is known to emanate from and/or reasonably suspected of emanating from a crime.
  20. To get details about the transaction history of a TAHAPAN XPRESI account, the Depositor can make an inquiry through KlikBCA Individual or m-BCA, or through other facilities in accordance with the provisions applicable at BCA.
  21. If there is a discrepancy between the balance in the TAHAPAN XPRESI account and the balance on record with BCA, the balance or records held by or recorded at BCA will prevail, unless proven otherwise.
  22. The Depositor must pay all charges and fees arising in connection with the opening of the TAHAPAN XPRESI account, including but not limited to the PASPOR XPRESI Card production/replacement fee, the administration fee, the transaction fee, as well as any other charges and fees. The amount of such charges and fees including any changes thereto will be notified to the Depositor by BCA in any form and by any means. Such charges and fees will be debited directly by BCA from the Depositor’s TAHAPAN XPRESI account.
  23. The Depositor must notify BCA in writing of any changes to the Depositor’s data.
  24. If the Depositor later applies for such facilities as m-BCA, KlikBCA, and/or other facilities associated with the opening of TAHAPAN XPRESI account (if any), the Depositor hereby agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions for such m-BCA, KlikBCA, and/or other facilities associated with the opening such of TAHAPAN XPRESI account used by the Depositor.
  25. The Depositor authorizes BCA to provide Depositor’s data to any party other than BCA that has entered into a cooperation with BCA, for promotional activities or other commercial purposes.
  26. The Depositor authorizes BCA, either now or after Depositor is no longer a BCA customer, to offer BCA's products/services and products/services of other parties that has entered into a cooperation with BCA via personal communication means.
  27. In the event of the Depositor’s death, BCA may request any documentation of heirship as required by BCA as the basis for liquidating the balance in the TAHAPAN XPRESI account and paying the same to the rightful beneficiary(-ies) as specified in the documentation of heirship. Once the balance in the TAHAPAN XPRESI account owned by the deceased Depositor has been liquidated and paid to the rightful beneficiary(-ies) or attorney(s)-in-fact as specified in the documentation of heirship, BCA is released and forever discharged from any liability whatsoever in connection with the Depositor’s TAHAPAN XPRESI account.
  28. As long as the Depositor still has outstanding debts to BCA under any credit facility, L/C, bank guarantee or guarantee provided by the Depositor (borgtocht), interest, facility fee (provisi), Cheque/Bilyet Giro book charges, stamp duty, draft, letter of acceptance or other commercial papers signed by the Depositor as an acceptor, endorser, or drawer, guarantor or as a consequence of the use of a credit card or any other fees or obligations arising from anything whatsoever, BCA is entitled, and to the extent necessary is hereby authorized by the Depositor to debit the Depositor’s account and apply the proceeds to repay any amounts at any time owing to BCA. Any consequences arising from the debiting of the TAHAPAN XPRESI account under such power granted by the Depositor shall be the sole responsibility of the Depositor.
  29. BCA has the right to rectify the balance of the Depositor’s account in the event of any mistake by BCA in inputting the relevant data.
  30. The TAHAPAN XPRESI will be automatically closed by the system if the balance in the account is IDR 0 (zero rupiah), and no debit and credit transactions were made in said account for 12 (twelve) consecutive months.
  31. The closure of a TAHAPAN XPRESI account can be done by the Depositor at the BCA branch office and the Depositor must present the Depositor’s original and valid ID card, the PASPOR Xpresi Card, and other supporting documents (if applicable) according to the provisions applicable at BCA.
  32. The closure of a TAHAPAN XPRESI account will be subject to an account closing fee. The fee amount for closing the TAHAPAN XPRESI account and any changes thereto will be notified by BCA to the Depositor in any form and by any means in accordance with the applicable law.
  33. BCA has the right to include the TAHAPAN XPRESI account in a lucky draw program held by BCA (if any) with the provisions and mechanisms of the lucky draw program as determined by BCA which will be informed to the Depositor in any form and by any means in accordance with the prevailing law.
  34. BCA has the right to not include the Depositor’s TAHAPAN BCA account in the lucky draw program held by BCA as referred to in point B.33 above if the Depositor does not meet the criteria determined by BCA for the participation in the lucky draw program held by BCA.
  35. All data connected with the TAHAPAN XPRESI account will be held and stored by BCA in accordance with the prevailing law.
  36. The Depositor’s funds at BCA are guaranteed by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan, or “LPS”) to the extent of the maximum limit stipulated by the LPS. The LPS does not guarantee any deposit with interest at the rate exceeding the maximum interest rate stipulated by the LPS.
  37. For the implementation of fund transfer transactions (including registration of destination accounts for the purpose of fund transfer transactions) through facilities provided by BCA, other banks, or non-bank institutions, the Depositor hereby authorizes BCA to:
    1. display the name and/or account number of the Depositor on the BCA facilities used to conduct fund transfer transactions;
    2. provide data on the name and/or account number of the Depositor to other banks, non-bank institutions, and other parties cooperating with other banks or non-bank institutions to be displayed on the facilities used for fund transfer transactions.
    The display of such name and/or account number is conducted as a means of confirmation to customers who conduct fund transfers to minimize the possibility of wrong transfers.
  38. For the implementation of deposit transactions, transfers, remittances, or other financial transactions and for the purposes of verification/confirmation of the status of transactions made by the Depositor to a fund account, virtual account, or other means that can receive funds or can be used as a facility for fund transfer/ payment through BCA branch offices, facilities provided by BCA, other banks, or non-bank institutions, the Depositor hereby authorizes BCA to:
    1. display the name and/or account number of the Depositor on the account statement and transaction report issued by BCA.
    2. provide data on the name and/or account number of the Depositor to other parties who process deposit transactions, transfers, remittances, or other financial transactions, recipients of virtual account facilities or other means that can receive funds or can be used as facility for fund transfer/payment, as well as to other parties who receive funds from transactions made by the Depositor.
  39. The Depositor hereby authorizes BCA to provide the Depositor‘s data to a paying bank in order to enable the paying bank to make payment to the designated recipient with regard to the Depositor's remittance transaction.
  40. The Depositor hereby acknowledges that all records, printouts, recordings, communication media, or other evidence of any nature held by BCA in connection with the electronic banking transactions conducted by the Depositor constitute valid and conclusive evidence binding on the Depositor, unless proven otherwise. The data connected with the electronic banking transactions conducted by the Depositor will be stored by BCA in accordance with the prevailing law.
  41. By opening the TAHAPAN XPRESI account, the Depositor is bound by and agrees to the terms and conditions for TAHAPAN XPRESI, including the provisions and rules governing all the services/facilities and transactions covered by the PASPOR Xpresi Card. BCA may at any time amend any provisions concerning the TAHAPAN XPRESI account, and such amendment will be notified by BCA in any form and by any means in accordance with the prevailing law.

C. DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS

  1. The amounts of initial and subsequent deposits into the TAHAPAN XPRESI account shall subject to the provisions applicable at BCA, which will be notified by BCA in any form and by any means in accordance with the prevailing law.
  2. Deposits can be made at any time through the teller counter during BCA business hours or through a cash deposit machine and/or through other facilities as determined by BCA.
  3. Deposits in forms of Cheques, Bilyet Giro, Drafts, and other instruments of similar nature will be credited to the TAHAPAN XPRESI account on the same day such instruments are received, but the credited amounts do not constitute good funds (dana efektif) that can be readily used or withdrawn by the Depositor (floating). The status of good funds in the TAHAPAN XPRESI account is dependent on the clearing result from Bank Indonesia and time of the clearing process (same day, next day or two days) as applicable to each BCA Branch Office. For incoming remittance transactions, funds will be credited to the TAHAPAN XPRESI account once the amounts have been received by BCA in good funds.
  4. In the event of any rejection of a Cheque, Bilyet Giro, Draft and other instruments of similar nature, BCA has the right to recover the credited amounts by debiting the Depositor’s TAHAPAN XPRESI account in the amount of the rejected Cheque/ Bilyet Giro/ Draft and other instruments of similar nature.
  5. If any of the instruments described above is rejected by the issuing bank, the rejected instrument can be collected by the depositor within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the rejection date. If the depositor fails to collect the rejected instrument within such period, BCA is not responsible for any consequences arising from the Depositor’s failure to collect the rejected instrument.
  6. If the Depositor requests BCA to make a collection (inkaso) of an instrument from the relevant issuing bank, BCA has the right to appoint a correspondent bank to carry out the collection. Any failure or delay by such correspondent bank in conducting the collection with the issuing bank or transferring the proceeds thereof to BCA as well as any loss arising from the collection process shall be the sole responsibility of the Depositor.
  7. Cash withdrawals or funds transfers from a TAHAPAN XPRESI account can be made through BCA ATM or through other facilities in accordance with the provisions applicable at BCA. BCA is not responsible for any damage to and/or failure of BCA ATMs and/or other facilities due to causes beyond BCA’s control.
  8. The Depositor will be charged a certain fee for the cash withdrawal and funds transfer conducted at the teller counter. The amount of such fee will be notified by BCA to the Depositor from time to time in any form and by any means in accordance with the prevailing law.
  9. Whenever the Depositor makes a cash withdrawal or a funds transfer at the teller counter, BCA has the right to carry out PIN verification and/or any other verification procedure (if necessary) in accordance with the provisions applicable at BCA. BCA has the right to refuse to process the withdrawal or funds transfer if the Depositor cannot be verified according to the provisions applicable at BCA.
  10. Cash withdrawals or funds transfers by the Depositor’s attorney-in-fact can be made at a BCA Branch Office and the Depositor’s attorney-in-fact must present a duly fiscal-stamped power of attorney from the Depositor as well as the Depositor’s identity card and the attorney-in-fact’s original identity card.

D. CALCULATION AND PAYMENT OF INTEREST

  1. The TAHAPAN XPRESI account pays interest calculated based on the monthly average balance.
  2. Interest will be paid at the end of the relevant month and will be directly credited or added to the balance of the Depositor’s account on record with BCA.
  3. The interest rate will be determined by BCA. BCA has the right to change the interest rate at any time and will notify the Depositor of such change in any form and by any means in accordance with the applicable law.
  4. Any interest income shall be subject to tax in accordance with the prevailing tax law, and the tax shall be borne by the Depositor.

E. PROCEDURE FOR PASPOR XPRESI CARD

Use of PASPOR Xpresi Card

  1. The PASPOR Xpresi Card can be used by the Depositor to conduct the following transactions:
    • making deposits via a cash deposit machine;
    • making cash withdrawals through BCA ATMs, another bank’s ATMs, including ATMs with Prima and Cirrus networks. For PASPOR Xpresi Cards with a national payment gateway logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional), cash withdrawals through ATMs of other banks can only be made at ATMs that are connected to the network that can accept such ATM Card and/or debit Card with a national payment gateway logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional);
    • making a funds transfer between BCA accounts and to other banks (inter-bank funds transfer) in Rupiah currency through BCA ATMs, and other banks’ ATMs using the Prima ATM network and other switching service provider networks;
    • making a remittance to a United States Dollar (USD) / Singapore Dollar (SGD) account through BCA ATMs or remittances in any other currency as may be determined by BCA;
    • paying various bills/installments and purchasing mobile credits through BCA ATMs;
    • making purchases with Debit BCA through BCA EDC machines and other parties' EDC machine via the Maestro/MasterCard network. For PASPOR Xpresi Cards with a national payment gateway logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional), purchases with Debit BCA through the EDC machine of other banks can only be made using the EDC machine that are connected to the network that can accept ATM Cards and/or debit cards with a national payment gateway logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional);
    • making cash withdrawals at merchants showing the “Tunai BCA” sticker;
    • making online debit transactions through the Mastercard network, only for holders of PASPOR Xpresi Cards with the Mastercard logo
    • changing a PIN at a BCA ATM and/or conducting other transactions as may be determined by BCA through the teller counter, BCA ATM, and/or other facilities as may be determined by BCA.
  2. Below is the procedure or manual for using the PASPOR Xpresi Card on BCA ATMs.
    1. insert the PASPOR Xpresi Card;
    2. enter the PIN. If the Depositor enters the wrong PIN 3 (three) times in a row, the PASPOR Xpresi Card will be blocked. The Depositor can request BCA to unblock the PASPOR Xpresi Card at a BCA Branch Office by taking the relevant PASPOR Xpresi Card and his/her original ID in accordance with applicable rules at BCA;
    3. select the desired type of transaction.
  3. Below is the procedure or manual for using the PASPOR Xpresi Card on EDC machine.
    1. insert the PASPOR Xpresi Card;
    2. check the transaction amount appearing on the screen of the EDC machine;
    3. enter Depositor’s PIN and affix Depositor’s signature (only for Certain Transactions at overseas merchants that only conduct transaction verification in the form of signatures). If the Depositor enters the wrong PIN 3 (three) times in a row, the PASPOR Xpresi Card will be blocked. The Depositor can request BCA to unblock the PASPOR Xpresi Card at a BCA Branch Office by taking the relevant PASPOR Xpresi Card and his/her original ID card in accordance with applicable rules at BCA;
  4. Procedures and mechanism for using PASPOR Xpresi Card with contactless feature through EDC machine or other terminals owned by BCA or other party thorough Maestro/Mastercard network that accept Contactless Transaction are as follows:
    1. Locate the PASPOR Xpresi Card close to the EDC machine or terminal; 
    2. Check the nominal amount of the transaction displayed on the EDC machine screen; 
    3. For transaction above the maximum limit determined by BCA, the principal of PASPOR Xpresi Card, or the competent authority in each country where the Depositor make the Contactless Transaction and/or other Contactless Transaction which are required to use a PIN, the Depositor will be required to enter PIN or affix a signature (specifically for Certain Transactions at merchant abroad that only accept transaction verification in the form of signature). If the wrong PIN number is entered 3 (three) times in a row, the PASPOR Xpresi Card will be blocked. Unblocking can be conducted through Halo BCA or at BCA branch office by bringing PASPOR Xpresi Card, proof of account ownership, and Depositor identification in accordance with applicable rules at BCA.
  5. Below is the procedure or manual for using the PASPOR Xpresi Card with the Mastercard logo for online debit transactions.
    1. enter the number of the PASPOR Xpresi Card bearing the Mastercard logo, its expiry date, and CVV (Card Verification Value) number into the merchant's application/website;
    2. for merchants that require an OTP, the screen of the merchant's application/website will show an instruction to enter the OTP, and the Depositor must enter the OTP sent to the mobile number previously registered by the Depositor for the purpose of verifying online debit transactions. The Depositor must maintain the confidentiality of the OTP and must not notify the OTP to any other party;
    3. continue the transaction as directed on the merchant's application/website.

Replacement of PASPOR Xpresi Card

  1. If the PASPOR Xpresi Card is damaged or lost, the Depositor may request a new PASPOR Xpresi Card at any BCA branch office. The replacement of a Photo-bearing PASPOR Xpresi Card or a Multi-design PASPOR Xpresi Card can only be done at certain BCA Branch Offices.
  2. If the Depositor requests the replacement of his/her PASPOR Xpresi Card for reasons other than a loss, the Depositor must show the PASPOR Xpresi Card to BCA.

F. COMPLAINTS HANDLING

  1. Any complaints to BCA in connection with the TAHAPAN XPRESI account may be lodged by the Depositor with any BCA branch office or with Halo BCA. For the purpose of handling a complaint, BCA may ask the Depositor to provide BCA with a copy of the Depositor’s identity card and other supporting documents.
  2. BCA will respond to such complaint in accordance with the prevailing law.
  3. Any complaints relating to the TAHAPAN XPRESI account must be lodged by the Depositor with BCA within no later than 3 (three) months of the transaction date.

G. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  1. The Depositor agrees that any dispute or difference of opinion arising from and/or in connection with the implementation of these Terms and Conditions for TAHAPAN XPRESI of PT BANK CENTRAL ASIA Tbk (“BCA”) will be resolved in an amicable manner.
  2. Any dispute or difference of opinion that cannot be amicably resolved between the Depositor and BCA will be resolved through banking mediation facilities at Bank Indonesia or the Financial Services Authority or by means of mediation through an Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution included in the List of Alternative Dispute Resolution Institutions stipulated by the Financial Services Authority.
  3. Any dispute or difference of opinion that cannot be resolved in an amicable manner, by means of banking mediation facilities, and/or by means of mediation as described in item 2 above will be resolved through the District Court of Central Jakarta, without prejudice to BCA's right to file a suit or claim through any other District Court within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

H. LANGUAGE

    These Terms and Conditions for TAHAPAN XPRESI of PT BANK CENTRAL ASIA Tbk ("BCA") are made and signed in 2 (two) versions of languages, namely Indonesian and English. In the event that there is a discrepancy in interpretation between the versions of Indonesian and English, then the version of Indonesian language shall prevail.

IMPORTANT: THE DEPOSITOR IS PROHIBITED FROM STORING OR LEAVING THE DEPOSITOR’S PASPOR XPRESI CARD WITH BCA

The Depositor hereby confirms that the Depositor fully understands and agrees to the Terms and Conditions for TAHAPAN XPRESI of PT BANK CENTRAL ASIA Tbk ("BCA") as described above and that BCA has provided sufficient explanation and sought the Depositor’s confirmation of his/her understanding of the benefits, charges and fees, and risks associated with the TAHAPAN XPRESI account
