Transactions using BCA Credit Cards at merchants by EDC machine are now faster and more convenient because there is a Contactless feature. Simply hold your BCA Contactless Credit Card over the EDC machine during checkout, and the transaction is completed in an instant.

Benefits of Contactless Features

When do a transaction at merchants, the cashier does not need to hold your BCA Credit Card, personal information like card number, card validity and 3-digit CVV are kept confidential and transactions can be carried out faster without a PIN.

How to Activate Contactless Features

VISA & MASTERCARD American Express/UNIONPAY/JCB Black
By making 1 (one) transaction on EDC machine/ATM using PIN, after that Contactless Feature is active and ready to use. Contactless Feature is active and ready to use.

How to Use Contactless Features

  1. Make sure the merchant provides payments with the Contactless Features marked by the contactless symbol on EDC machine
  2. Prepare Your BCA Contactless Credit Card
  3. Hold your BCA Contactless Credit Card over the EDC machine
  4. Transaction is successful

Starting July 25, 2023, the Contactless transaction limit will change to:

  • Keep your BCA Credit Card, because BCA Contactless Credit Card can be used for transactions without a PIN.
