Loans Surpassed Rp1,000 Trillion for the First Time, BCA Committed to Supporting National Economy

Jakarta, 28 July 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (IDX:BBCA) and its subsidiaries continued to maintain prudent loan disbursement across various sectors, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting the national economy. BCA's total loans as of the first half of 2026 grew 8% YoY, surpassin IDR1,000 trillion for the first time to reac IDR1,036 trillion. The achievement was supported by a strong deposit franchise, with current and savings account (CASA) balances rising 10.2% YoY t IDR1,082 trillion. Total third-party funds increased 7.9% YoY t IDR1,284 trillion, with CASA contributing around 84.3% of BCA’s total third-party funds, while the Cost of Funds (CoF) remained well managed.

BCA’s performance in the first half of 2026 was supported by various factors, including BCA Expoversary 2026 and productive loan disbursement across multiple sectors. BCA's loan growth was supported by productive financing o IDR802 trillion, up 11% YoY. This included corporate loans, which rose 13.6% YoY t IDR513.4 trillion, as well as commercial and SME loans, which increased 6.6% YoY t IDR288.5 trillion. Asset quality remained sound, with the loan at risk (LAR) ratio and non-performing loan (NPL) ratio maintained at 4.9% and 1.9%, respectively. In the first half of 2026, BCA and its subsidiaries recorded a net profit o IDR29.5 trillion.

BCA's green financing grew 19% YoY t IDR123 trillion, driven by key contributions from the New and Renewable Energy sector, which rose 82% YoY t IDR7.7 trillion. In addition, electric vehicle financing increased 25% YoY t IDR4 trillion.

BCA continues to drive innovation and developments through myBCA, enabling customers to open securities accounts and BCA Sekuritas Investor Fund Accounts (RDN), apply for new or supplementary credit cards, and purchase flight tickets via tiket.com, complementing the existing train and ferry ticket features. These enhancements have supported growth in transaction volumes. As of June 2026, BCA's non-interest income reache IDR13.2 trillion, up 11% YoY.

BCA retained its position as Indonesia’s best bank according to Forbes, reaffirming the company's commitment to excellent customer service. The company also received four awards from Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance for its role as a Distribution Partner and Primary Dealer for Government Debt Securities (SUN). On human capital, BCA earned the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia, the HR Asia Tech Empowerment Award 2026, and the LinkedIn Talent Awards 2025 for Best Employer Branding among large enterprises.

Through Bakti BCA, BCA runs a range of Corporate Shared Value (CSV) programs, one of which is Genera-Z Berbakti, which facilitated four university teams to serve in Bakti BCA's fostered villages. Genera-Z Berbakti documentation can be viewed on Solusi BCA's official YouTube channel. In education, Bakti BCA conducted fun mathematics training using the GASING method (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) to support the recovery of disaster-affected communities, particularly students and teachers in Aceh Tamiang. BCA’s Berbagi Ilmu continues to be held across various universities, bringing BCA leaders to share knowledge directly with students. In healthcare, Bakti BCA participated in providing information, early detection, and distributing preeclampsia early detection kits to Cisompet Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Garut, West Java. On the cultural aspect, Bakti BCA collaborated with the Indonesian Natural Dye Association (WARLAMI) to showcase woven products made with natural dyes at the Tenun Exhibition held at Indonesia House Amsterdam (IHA) in the Netherlands. Lastly, in the tourism sector, BCA invited tourism industry players from Singapore and Malaysia to visit one of Bakti BCA's fostered villages, Bukit Peramun, Belitung, through a familiarization trip.
