Jakarta, 1 July 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) becomes the first company to win the Indonesia Operations Bank Summit (IOBS) trophy. This achievement was made possible by the success of all BCA representatives in winning various awards at the event organized by the Forum for Communication of Banking Operations Directors (FKDOP).
BCA President Director Hendra Lembong said, "It is an honor for BCA to bring home the perpetual trophy from IOBS 2025. This award is the result of the hard work, collaboration, and innovative spirit of BCA's young bankers to continue providing solutions for customers. We believe that a healthy and collaborative competitive environment like this prepares young bankers to face dynamic challenges and add value to the Indonesian banking industry.."
IOBS is an event that convenes various innovations from the banking industry, as well as providing awards for each innovation in improving the capabilities of young bankers. Held from May 26-28, the inaugural IOBS event, themed "From Nusantara to The World," convened industry experts to discuss innovation, operational strategies, and banking challenges in the digital age. A total of 135 participants from various banks attended the event.
BCA delegated 30 teams from the e-Channel & Settlement Services (CSV) and Global Trade & Payment Services (GTP) divisions. All representatives were recognized with 14 platinum and 16 diamond awards. Both are the highest awards at the event.
Three BCA representative teams also won special awards at IOBS 2025. The three special awards were Best Impact for Industries, Best 4.0 Business Implementation, and National Standard Innovation. Each special award was given to the BCA team that brought the following innovations:
- Optimizing the prevention of the use of payment facilities for online gambling transactions with FAST
- Accelerating the Flazz top-up process with AI Agent & Mechatronics at BCA by 2024
- Reducing transaction failures, accelerating reconciliation, and resolving complaints-Fast with PSR, Auto-Reverse, OSRA and RPA
