Galeri BCA Showcases #BuktiBaktiBCA for a Better Indonesia

Jakarta, 14 February 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) presents an educational and inspiring experience through the Bakti BCA zone at the BCA Gallery, BCA Learning Institute, Sentul. This zone serves as a platform for BCA to showcase its journey, not only in the banking industry but also through its initiatives and contributions in education, healthcare, tourism village and MSME development, culture, and environmental conservation.

BCA Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility EVP Hera F. Haryn said, "The Bakti BCA zone reflects our commitment to actively creating positive impacts across various sectors of society in line with the spirit of #BuktiBaktiBCA. This initiative is part of BCA's efforts to support sustainable development goals by making tangible contributions through programs that promote educational advancement, environmental preservation, economic empowerment, and social welfare."

As part of its commitment to delivering value and benefits to both communities and the environment, BCA presents various initiatives under the Bakti BCA umbrella. In the education sector, BCA organizes the BCA Berbagi Ilmu program, which engaged approximately 7,500 participants and provided 700 scholarships in 2024. In addition, BCA conducted professional Makeup Artist training and certification for 10 individuals with disabilities.

In healthcare, BCA continues to support free cataract surgeries across seven regions, benefiting over 1,000 patients in 2024. In economic empowerment, BCA actively supports the development of MSMEs, including through the issuance of 2,000 halal certificates in 2024. The BCA UMKM Go Export program has successfully helped several MSMEs enter international markets, generating a total export potential of Rp37 billion by the end of 2024. Furthermore, Bakti BCA also supports 27 tourism villages across Indonesia.

In the environmental sector, Bakti BCA has planted more than 51,500 trees in various regions, released 5 orangutans back into the wild, released more than 15,000 sea turtle eggs, and repaired 4 artificial islands for orangutans in Kalimantan. Bakti BCA also held the "Gebyar BCA Merah Putih: Indonesia Banget!" event which was attended by more than 10,000 visitors for 3 days in the Prambanan Temple area, involving dozens of MSMEs in Pasar Kangen, and enlivened by musical performances involving youth from studios and students from Bakti BCA schools.
