BCA Business Case Competition 2024 “The Mastermind of Strategic bluprint”, For Young Generation Show Capabilities in the Digital Era

 

Jakarta, 27 August 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is once again organizing the “BCA Business Case Competition 2024” for university students across Indonesia. Themed “The Mastermind of Strategic bluprint”, this activity provides participants with the opportunity to win prizes worth a total of Rp50 million, as well as internship and career opportunities at BCA.

Unlike the previous year, BCA is synergizing with BCA Digital to discuss subjects regarding digital banking. Participants will be challenged to think critically and devise strategies to keep banking industry players relevant in providing services and meeting customer needs in the digital era.

BCA Director Lianawaty Suwono said, “The success of BCA Business Case Competition 2023 made us realize that Indonesia's young generation has great potential in generating strategies to answer the various challenges a company faces. Reflecting on this success, we held the BCA Business Case Competition 2024 to allow young Indonesians to show their capability as Business Person. Through this competition, we want to open as many opportunities as possible for young generation to express their brilliant ideas in facing industry challenges.”

The BCA Business Case Competition 2024 is open to undergraduate students from all faculties and universities in Indonesia. Registration has been opened from August 6 to September 3, 2024, on the official website bbcc2024.id. Prospective participants who are interested in joining must form a group of three members from the same educational institution. In the initial selection stage, prospective participants only need to create their best infographic in Indonesian. This infographic must then be uploaded to Linkedin account of each member of the team by adding hashtag #BBCC2024 and tagging PT Bank Central Asia Tbk’s Linkedin account.

The committee will select 10 best teams that qualify for the Grand Final round and the announcement of the selection results will be submitted via email, Instagram account @lifeatbca, and on the official website karir.bca.co.id.

The selected finalists will receive mentoring and networking opportunities with experts from BCA and BCA Digital. During the activity, finalists will have the opportunity to solidify their knowledge and strategies for the Grand Final, which will be held offline at BCA Head Office. All stages and selection processes of the BCA Business Case Competition 2024 are free of charge.

“This competition not only equips students with problem solving and critical thinking skills. It is also a stage for them to implement these skills directly with various challenges that we have prepared. This event is a golden opportunity to hone the ability to build relationships, find the best solutions, and encourage the younger generation to become thought leaders in the banking industry, especially digital banking,” said BCA EVP Human Capital Rudi Lim.

BCA Business Case Competition 2024 is a form of BCA's commitment to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by supporting participants to get quality education. The competition is expected to prepare the younger generation to be the future leaders of the industry, and to contribute to the growth of the Indonesian economy.
