BCA Fulfills Customer Product and Service Needs through 59 Years of Innovation

Jakarta, February 21th 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has accompanied customers and Indonesia for the past 59 years. Product and service innovations continue to meet with the needs of BCA customers. To commemorate BCA’s 59th anniversary, BCA showed its appreciation to customers through various social programs and special promotions.

“Thanks to the support of customers and the Indonesian public, BCA continues to maintain its commitment to always be our customers’ and Indonesia’s side for the past 59 years. Various challenges and opportunities have come and go, but we remain steadfast. Furthermore, we continue to improve our product and service quality amidst changing economic climate,” BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja remarked.

BCA is grateful for this strength and plans to show its appreciation through various social programs and promotions. “BCA’s joyful anniversary is something we would like to share with the general public, especially BCA customers. They are a large part of BCA’s extended family,” Jahja added.

For its 59th anniversary, BCA conducted several social programs to give back to the community, including Financial Literacy Education for SMP (junior high school) students, Educator Seminar for BCA foster school instructors with the theme “Developing Your Personal Impact and Influence”, as well as Health Education clases for BCA SD (primary school) foster schools. All three events were held in Serang, Lampung, and Yogya. Additionally, BCA hosted a blood drive at its headquarters and branch offices, as well as training session for UI and IPB students called “Star Leader Program”. Finally, BCA also provided free medical treatment for Bakti BCA foster villages, free cataract operations, and sea turtle reintroduction to their natural habitat.

Beyond the numerous social programs, BCA provided special offers to all of its loyal customers. “On behalf of BCA, I would like to thank loyal BCA customers for the prayer, suppoer, and trust, which allowed BCA to continue to provide the best service to this day. For that, BCA offers a variety of special promotions from BCA products,” Jahja stated.

As a start, BCA added an electronic money smartphone app to its current digital lineup, Sakuku. BCA also launched a new savings program and Home Ownership Loan (KPR) program with great interests, on top of numerous other programs. To further its commitment to customers to always be by their side, BCA has added more features on its official site www.bca.co.id. Visitors can enjoy a better layout, appearance, and content that is compatible with all devices.

Endless gratitude is also directed to BCA’s extended family. “On behalf of BCA, I would like to thank all the hard work and dedication shown by our directors, commissioners, and BCA employees. Due to the synergy from everyone in the BCA family, we have successfully maintained a positive performance amidst changing economic climate.”

As a form of appreciation, BCA also held events for its employees, who have played a major part in the development of the company. Every year, BCA hosted Porseni (Pekan Olah Raga dan Seni), where BCA employees can showcase their talents and skills in art or sport. Additionally, BCA Awards recognizes individuals at BCA who have given their best in their position. Porseni and BCA Awards winners are hoped to serve as inspiration to others at BCA to accomplish great things and perform well.
