Jakarta, 13 October 2017 - PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) Tbk affirms its commitment to support Indonesia’s infrastructure development by signing two Loan Syndication Agreements for two toll road projects, which are parts of the National Strategic Project, namely the Pandaan-Malang Toll network, financing Rp 1 trillion of the total syndicated financing of Rp 4.179 trillion and Rp 652.8 billion for the Manado-Bitung Toll project of the total loan syndication valued at Rp 3.586 trillion, with tenor of 15 years.
In fulfilling the total financing for the 38.49 km Pandaan-Malang toll road project, BCA together with Bank Mandiri, and BNI Tbk act as Joint Mandate Lead Arranger Bookrunners (JMLAB). In this syndication lending, BCA also acts the Facility Agent.
Meanwhile, to finance the construction of the 39 km long Manado-Bitung toll road, BCA with BNI, Bank Mandiri, and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (SMI) act as JMLAB. In addition to that, BCA also acts as the Security Trustee.
Senior Vice President of BCA Yuli Melati said that the loan agreement is a testament to BCA’s commitment as national private bank in supporting the acceleration of infrastructure development as now prioritized by the government. BCA’s support and involvement is also based on optimistic faith in Indonesia’s future economic growth, which should be based on the development of fundamental infrastructure. Indonesia’s economic growth potential will optimize with these infrastructure developments.

As widely known, the Pandaan-Malang toll road project is managed under the coordination of PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang, a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, which holds the concession of the Pandaan-Malang toll road project. This project will connect Surabaya, Pandaan Regency, Pasuruan Regency and Malang. Meanwhile, PT Jasamarga Manado Bitung, a subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is a subsidiary company that manages the toll road concession that will connect the city of Manado, Airport and the city of Bitung. These two projects are fundamental to the development of manufacturing industry and the surrounding tourism.
