This time, BCA received a recognition at the Bank Indonesia Awards 2018, held in conjuction with the Annual Meeting of Bank Indonesia (AMBI) at Jakarta Convention Center, Tuesday (27/11).
President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja and Director of BCA Rudy Susanto directly received the award from Bank Indonesia. BCA nabbed two awards, namely the Best Financial Market Deepening Support Bank for Supporting Group of Rupiah Financial Market Deepening and the Best Rupiah and Foreign Currency Monetary Control Support Bank.
"We understand that the efforts to deepen Indonesia’s financial market require a full support of good governance practices. Therefore, as a banking institution, BCA continues to coordinate and cooperate with Bank Indonesia to ensure the the market players are supporting the development and deepening of the money market. The award also serves as a form of appreciation for BCA’s achievement in maintaining positive performance amid the highly competitive banking sector,” said Jahja.
During the 2018 AMBI, Bank Indonesia honors 40 economic actors from 14 consisting of corporations, individuals, banks and clusters. The award recognizes the best performance demonstrated by economic actors, including BCA as a banking institution in establishing a constructive relationship with BI.
Jahja said that the recognition the company received is expected to further strenghthen BCA as the leading bank of choice. "Not only maintaining a solid performance, BCA now focuses on promoting developing technology by intensifying digital system expansion. The award from Bank Indonesia will further spark our enthusiasm in providing the best products and services for customers,” Jahja concluded.
