Jakarta, 09 October 2018 – The efforts of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) to share knowledge and inspiration for the advancement of the business world and Indonesian society continue to be carried out through various programs. Through BCA Learning Service, BCA demonstrated its effort by organizing the Grand Celebration of Knowledge, Indonesia Knowledge Forum (IKF) VII 2018, under the theme of “Fostering Innovation and Creating Value Through Digital Transformation". The IKF VII 2018 is presenting notable keynote speakers to share their knowledge, experience and inspiration in developing innovation and strengthening digital transformation value.
Attending to open the IKF VII 2018 at The Ritz Carlton Pacific Place, Tuesday (09/10), was Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Djoko Sasono, President Commissioner of BCA D.E Setijoso, President Director of BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja and the management of BCA. Jahja said that this annual event is designed to facilitate business people who seek for knowledge to be implemented in their organizations, where they can get access to a series of expo and exhibitions, followed by select providers of science and technology.
For two consecutive days, 9-10 October 2018, approximately 20 inspiring speakers from various fields will participate to share their knowledge and experience in developing innovation and strengthening digital transformation value.
On the first day of the IKF VII 2018, the “Outlook Economy in Digital Age” Seminar invited Economic Observer Hermanto Gunawan. The followsing session also invited notable speakers including the Head of Jakarta Smart City Setiaji, President Director of Blue Bird Group Indonesia Noni Purnomo, and CEO of General Electric Indonesia Handry Satriago. But no less interesting, the IKF VII 2018 will also include a series of expo and exhibitions sponsored by approximately 29 companies (exhibitor) and select providers of science and technology, which are expected to be an inspiration and source of new knowledge for the development of the business community.
Jahja said that digital technology has an important role in the economic growth of a country, including Indonesia. "Therefore, companies in Indonesia must be able to adapt to digital transformation to achieve human resource efficiency and improve the innovative potential in order to fulfill the increasing needs of the consumers," added Jahja.
“The initiation of the IKF VII is one of the implementations of our initiatives in facilitating he exchange of ideas, innovation and creativity to allow business players to grow in the midst of the recent massive technology. This is also part of our efforts through the BCA Learning Service to provide value added for the development of quality human resources through adequate learning from qualified speakers of their fields of expertise,” Jahja concluded.
