In line with BCA's mission to always be by the side of its customers, BCA continuously develops services for all customers, including the Deaf community. To provide good service, BCA collaborates with Hear Me. Hear Me is a social technology platform that provides Indonesian Sign Language interpreter services. (BISINDO).
The initiative uses Voice to Motion technology, a two-way communication system consisting of two tablets placed at the customer service desk. This system converts the voices of non-deaf staff into 3D sign language animations, allowing deaf customers to understand information more easily. Additionally, deaf customers can respond by typing on the tablet, ensuring smooth and effective communication.
After conducting a trial service in 2023 at myBCA Store Kota Kasablanka, this service received a positive response from the Deaf community, leading to its continuation at myBCA Store Kota Kasablanka starting 11 November 2024.
